It is a new support for automatic subtitles, that is, it will not be necessary for the person who makes the video to write what he said or sang, but the app generates it automatically.
It has been the director of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, who has given the news of the arrival of automatic subtitles to the videos of the application, in addition to having recognized that «it has been a long time coming». But better late than never, and from today we will be able to watch videos in the application with subtitles automatically superimposed. Of course, each user will have the option to disable this feature if they do not need it.
